Change Video Speed Online

Speed up, slow down, or speed-ramp a video — free, no upload.

or

Change the playback speed of a video — a simple 2× fast-forward, a dramatic slow-mo, or a full speed ramp that flows between speeds. Drag the curve to set how fast each part plays; audio follows the curve in the preview with selectable pitch handling. Everything runs locally in your browser using WebCodecs — your file is never uploaded to a server, so it stays private and conversion starts instantly. Need more than one operation? Use the "Continue this clip in" links in the workspace — your edits carry over to crop, trim, resize and compress without re-uploading the file.

Frequently asked questions

Can I speed up one part and slow down another?
Yes — double-click the curve to add points and give every section its own speed. Smoothed points create gradual speed ramps instead of hard jumps.
What happens to the audio?
In the preview, audio follows the speed curve. "Preserve pitch" time-stretches so voices keep their pitch; "Varispeed" resamples like tape, so pitch rises with speed.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser using WebCodecs — your file is never uploaded to a server, so it stays private and conversion starts instantly.
